MAG box favourites provide quick access to channels you use regularly. The controls depend on whether you are using Infomir’s embedded portal or a provider’s custom interface.
Add MAG box favourites
- Open the channel list and highlight the channel.
- Read the on-screen key legend or context menu for the favourite action.
- Apply it and check that a marker appears beside the channel.
- Open the favourites view and verify that the channel is present.
Do not assume that one colour key performs the same action in every portal. Follow the labels displayed by your current interface.
Maintain the list
Use the same favourite control to remove a channel when supported. If a provider changes channel identifiers, an old favourite may stop working; add the current channel entry again.
Favourites and parental controls
A favourites list is an organisational tool. It does not prevent access to other channels. Configure the player’s separate parental controls when access restrictions are needed.
Before clearing user data or resetting the box, check whether your portal offers a settings backup. A normal restart is a better first step when the list temporarily fails to display.
