A TVIP factory reset can remove configuration you need to reconnect. Use it only after simpler checks and after confirming the reset procedure for your exact model and firmware.

Before a TVIP factory reset

  • Restart normally and check the network and provider service status.
  • Save the portal address, connection type and network settings privately.
  • Make sure you can recover the streaming account details.
  • Check whether your operator manages the device and must restore its configuration.

Use the documented method

Open the reset function described in the model’s manual and read its confirmation screen carefully. Menu labels and physical-button procedures differ between models. Do not use a guessed button combination from an unrelated box.

After restarting

  1. Choose the required language and display settings.
  2. Reconnect the network.
  3. Restore the supported provider connection.
  4. Test one channel and the remote before restoring other preferences.

A reset does not renew an expired account or repair a provider outage. If the original fault remains, tell support what you tested instead of repeatedly resetting.
