A MAG portal address tells the box where to load its provider interface. Change it only when your streaming provider supplies a replacement; a new billing website address is not a reason to alter the portal.
Save the existing MAG portal address
Write down the current portal name and address privately. If the box has more than one configured entry, note which one currently works. Keep the old entry until the new one is tested.
Enter the replacement address
- Return to the embedded portal or its system settings.
- Open Servers → Portals on supported Linux MAG models.
- Edit the intended portal entry, preserving the complete protocol, hostname, port and path supplied by your provider.
- Save, restart the portal and select the updated entry.
Check the result
Confirm that the expected account and channel list appear. If the box displays an access error, ask support to verify device registration and subscription status. Repeated factory resets will not repair an incorrect server address.
