MAG catch-up TV plays earlier programmes stored by your provider. It works only when the account, channel and portal support that feature. It is separate from recording to a USB drive.

Open MAG catch-up TV

  1. Choose a channel marked as supporting catch-up in your provider’s interface.
  2. Open its programme guide or archive.
  3. Select an earlier programme within the available time window.
  4. Start playback and check that the correct programme opens.

Button names and archive symbols vary. Follow the portal’s on-screen instructions instead of assuming every MAG interface uses the same key.

Why a programme may be unavailable

The provider can limit the archive period or exclude specific channels. A programme shown in the guide is not proof that a playable recording exists. Ask support about the specific channel and broadcast time.

If the wrong programme starts

Check the device clock and time zone, then report the guide entry and actual programme shown. Include whether live playback works. This helps separate an archive problem from a general connection fault.

For local recordings, see recording on a MAG box.
