A MAG portal is the interface a compatible set-top box loads to display a provider’s channels and account features. The portal address points to that service interface; it is not necessarily the provider’s public website.

Embedded and external MAG portal

The embedded portal is built into supported Linux MAG firmware and provides settings and local functions. An external portal is supplied by an operator and loaded over the network.

Three addresses that are easy to confuse

  • Billing website: used to manage invoices, orders and support.
  • Portal URL: entered into the box’s portal configuration.
  • M3U URL: a playlist source used by compatible players.

A provider can use different domains for all three. Moving the billing portal does not automatically change a streaming server.

Get the right connection details

Tell support your exact MAG model and the account format you need. If device registration is required, provide the requested identifier privately. Do not guess a portal address by adding paths to the billing domain.

Use our MAG box setup guide when your provider has confirmed the address.

Account and setup help

Manage your subscription in the Xtreme HD client area. For help, send your device model, player name and exact error through support. Keep passwords and complete playlist URLs out of public comments.
